Our branch of the Joinson Family has been in Portsmouth, Hampshire, United Kingdom, and the surrounding  area, since the end of World War II, when John (Jack) Joinson married Phyllis.

There are not many Joinsons living in the south of UK. You will more likely find the family name common in the northern counties of Cheshire and Lancashire, UK.  

We have an amateur interest in genealogy and have been researching the family ancestors over a number of years.
